We are excited to announce two new platforms to streamline your service with our office. The first is a payment platform named PatientSERV. You will now notice that many of your uninsured services invoices come from PatientSERV. You can pay any outstanding invoice online by clicking the adjacent link. The second is a communication platform called Ocean. Ocean will serve many purposes for our office including sending appointment reminders, rescheduling or cancelling your appointment without having to call into the office, 2-way secure messaging and online booking for appointments. Please check your email and junk mail for emails from Ocean and PatientSERV and please consider adding both of these email addresses as contacts in your email.

Uninsured Services

Optional Annual Fee Program

This program is completely optional. You may always call our office to receive care.

What's Included

The Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) pays for most of your medical visits to the office. However, there are many time-intensive, uninsured services for which OHIP does not compensate family physicians. This optional annual subscription covers those services.

  • Unlimited prescription renewal requests via phone, email and fax with medication review

  • Ability to contact our office via email for appointment requests and administrative questions only

  • Sick or return to work notes

  • Sick or return to school notes

  • School, daycare, and camp medical forms

  • Travel consultation (vaccination cost in addition)

  • Uninsured vaccination administration (vaccination cost in addition)

  • Review of requests for Allied Health Services (Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage, Orthotics, Assistive devices, etc.)

  • Tuberculosis (TB) test and reading, including 2-step

  • Provision of printed or electronic medical notes or test results

  • 50% reduction in Driver's Medical Examination and report

  • 50% reduction in legal and insurance form completion

Our commitment to extended care accessibility

The Access to Care and After Hours Clinics

We understand that medical needs do not always happen during regular office hours. Here are your options for care when our office is closed. Both options are located on the first floor of the same building as our practice located at 481 London Road.

Rapids Access to Care

If you have contacted our office due to an episodic medical condition (sore throat, ear ache, urinary tract infection, cough, etc.) and we are unable to offer a same day or next day appointment, you can be seen at the Rapids Access to Care Center. Subject to availability.

Hours:

Mon - Thurs: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Friday: 8:00am - Noon

Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00pm

After Hours Walk-In Clinic

Patient of Dr Innes who are requiring access to medical care outside of office hours are encouraged to utilize the first-come, first-served After Hours Clinic.

Hours:

Mon - Fri: 5:00pm - 7:30pm

Saturday mornings

Life-Threatening Emergency?

For emergencies such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding or signs of a stroke, call 911 immediately or go to your nearest emergency room.

  • Although our regular clinic does not offer walk-in appointments. We do offer same day urgent appointments. Additionally, we offer an After Hours Walk-In Clinic Monday to Friday from 5:00 - 7:30pm and Saturday mornings for our registered patients.

  • Options:

    1. Call your Pharmacy to have them fax us a refill request (You will be charged for the refill request if you are not an annual fee member)

    2. Call our office at 519-332-4699 to book a refill appointment

  • We will contact you for significant results once they are received. You can also call our office at 519-332-4699 to inquire. Also, we are initiating Ocean, a portal to communicate with patients regarding things like test results.

  • Yes, sick notes are available. They are included in our Annual Fee program or available for a fee.

  • Yes, we provide care for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.

  • Yes, we perform driver's medical examinations. Annual Fee members receive 50% off.

  • Please provide 24 hours notice for cancellations to avoid a missed appointment fee. Fees vary depending on appointment type.

  • We accept cash, debit, and most major credit cards.

  • Yes, accessible parking is available at our 481 London Road location.

  • It's an appointment-based, NP-led service affiliated with our office for episodic conditions when our same-day appointments are full. They send us their report unlike walk-in clinics in order to avoid fragmented care that occurs when you see other walk-in clinics.
